Learn with our Australian Bridge Federation accredited teachers
Peninsula Bridge Club is one of the largest in Australia - we offer more than 12 bridge sessions a week. We are a not-for-profit volunteer-run club - check our profile!
Beginner lessons
Small-group beginner courses are offered throughout the year at Peninsula Bridge Club in the Nelson Heather Centre, Warriewood. Currently we offer 10-12 on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 7-9 on Monday evenings.
Cost $100. Four lessons. 2 hours max. Text book included. We also offers refresher lessons “on demand” for those returning to bridge.
As soon as we have enough people interested to learn at one of these times, we will contact you to confirm details and arrange payment.
All of our teachers are experienced and ABF accredited. Your personal teacher will plan lessons (based on our modern standard system) to suit your group. Each player’s development will be monitored, with practice play follow-up suggestions including other club session options and/or online.
So many options are here waiting for you!

After the beginners course?
Help with Play sessions are specifically designed to support those players who have just completed the beginners course, and for those players who have not had the opportunity to consolidate what they learned. It provides a relaxed environment where each player is supported at point of need.
A mini lesson is given at the beginning of the session and the boards played reinforce the focus of the lesson.
We also offer Improve Your Declarer Play, Defender Play and other improver lessons to help you advance your understanding, including adding to your bidding system the conventions that most regular players use.
